At imprint home improvements, we realise that safety is paramount to our customers. One of our services is fireproofing. With fireproofing your home, you not only minimise fire damage you also protect your assets and avoid expensive repairs or replacements.

Our fire proofing reduces the risk of fire spread and safeguards the structural integrity of your home. Our treatments create a barrier against ignition and flames spreading throughout your home.

The products we use are tested and certified to BS EN927-6, BS476 class 0 and class 1. 

The product we use to ensure your home has that extra bit of safety is an absorbent wood and timber treatment. It impregnates into the wood leaving a clear finish, preserving your aesthetic. The product is colourless and odourless, it will not discolour your hard or soft wood. It contains environmentally friendly components that assists the flame retardant components to penetrate the wood. The product is specially painted on your wood. It is breathable and non-toxic

The fire retardant can be used on all interior and exterior wood. It can be used on load and non load bearing wood.

Our team, apply the product consistently per square metre to ensure effective, uniform protection. The application ensures that the fire resistant polymers impregnate the wood efficiently. 

The products we use are humidity resistant, non-corrosive to fixings and fixtures and do not affect the breathability or physical properties of the wood. Due the product being water based, it does not contain any nasty solvents
